I had placed a roof claim with my insurance for two small leaks. The insurance company sent all their engineering team to my residence to build up their case why not to pay. They came back with a fat report, that looked overwhelming, with lots of photos, analysis and engineer’s opinions claiming that the damages were pre-existing and only wanted to pay 30% of the total cost for repairs.
